People, Teams & Roster

Teams

Open your whole locker to the people you work with most, and step into theirs.

What a Team Is

Adding a collaborator shares one track. A team goes further: the people on it can open each other's lockers, so a manager, a writing partner or a small label can work across a whole catalogue together.

Teams live on People, on the Team side.

Making a Team and Inviting People

  • Press the plus beside the People title on the Team side and choose Team
  • Use Add someone to invite a person by email, or pick someone you already know on Locker
  • On a computer you can also drag a person's card onto your team

An invite is only an invite: nobody joins a team until they say yes.

Choosing What They Open

For each team you are on, you decide what its people can open in your locker:

  • Can listen or Can edit
  • Tracks, Playlists and Folders, each on or off
  • Copy into their locker, off unless you turn it on

Your Ideas are never opened to a team. They stay private to you.

Stepping Into Someone's Locker

When someone's locker is open to you, open their card and step into it. Music then shows only their tracks, playlists and folders, under a bar naming whose locker you are in, with Back to my locker to return. You can also choose to mix their music in with yours on Music.

Leave a team, or take someone off one you made, from the team's ··· menu. Lockers opened between just two people, outside a team, are listed under "Just the two of you".
