1. Overview

This Cookie Policy explains how Locker uses cookies and similar technologies on www.getlocker.co and related web experiences. Locker sets one cookie, and it exists only to remember whether your sidebar is open. We use no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking of any kind.

2. What We Store, and Where

Sign-in session

Essential

Keeps you signed in between visits.

Stored in your browser local storage rather than in a cookie. Cleared when you sign out.

Layout preference

Essential

Remembers whether your sidebar is open or collapsed.

This is the only cookie Locker sets. It holds a single true or false value, contains no personal data, and expires after seven days.

Interface preferences

Essential

Remembers small choices you have made in the app.

Things like panel heights and playback preferences, stored in your browser local storage. They never leave your device.

Usage measurement

Essential

Tells us which pages are slow or failing.

We use Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights on the live site. These are cookieless: they set no cookies, assign no persistent identifier, and cannot follow you to other websites.

3. What We Do Not Use

  • Advertising or marketing cookies.
  • Third-party tracking pixels or social media trackers.
  • Cross-site or cross-device tracking.
  • Profiling or automated decision-making based on your browsing.

Payments are handled on Stripe's own hosted checkout page. Locker does not load Stripe scripts on our site, so any cookies Stripe sets during payment are set on Stripe's own domain and are governed by Stripe's privacy policy.

4. Consent

Everything described in Section 2 is strictly necessary to provide the service you have asked for, or is cookieless. Under UK PECR and equivalent rules, this means we do not need to ask for consent, and you will not see a cookie banner on Locker.

If we ever introduce non-essential cookies, we will ask for your consent before setting them and update this page at the same time.

5. Your Controls

You can clear or block cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Doing so will sign you out of Locker and reset your interface preferences, but no catalogue data is affected.
