Creating Playlists

Playlists let you group tracks for any purpose: pitching to a sync library, creating a demo reel, organising songs for an album, or sending a curated selection to someone. The same track can appear in as many playlists as you like.

• Make a playlist from the plus (choose Playlist)
• Add tracks by dragging them onto a playlist, or tick them and use Add to, then Playlist
• Reorder tracks within a playlist by dragging them up or down
• Find your playlists on Music, under Playlists

Choosing the Version

Each track in a playlist plays its Main version unless you say otherwise. If you make a different version Main later, the playlist follows.

When you need a playlist to stay on a particular mix (for example, a submission to a supervisor), open the version picker on that entry, turn off Always use Main and choose the version. It will not change even if you upload a new master.

Playlist Artwork

Each playlist can have its own artwork. Upload an image, or pick a gradient. Artwork shows on Music, on share pages, and in the player.

Playlists in Folders

Playlists go in the same folders as your tracks. Drag a playlist onto a folder, or use Add to, then Folder. A playlist can sit in more than one folder.

Sending and Sharing Playlists

Use Share to send a playlist as a private link to anyone, with or without a Locker account. Use Add a collaborator to work on the playlist with someone inside Locker, as an Editor or a Viewer. See Share Links and Sharing and Collaborators.
