Exporting Your PRO Catalogue
How to download your works list from PRS, ASCAP, BMI, SESAC, and other PROs as a CSV for Kii context.
Why Import Your PRO Catalogue?
Your PRO (Performing Rights Organisation) holds a list of every work you've registered, song titles, co-writers, splits, and publisher information. Importing this into Locker as a context source is the single most powerful thing you can do to make Kii smarter.
With your catalogue data, Kii can automatically suggest credits, splits, and metadata for tracks you upload, matching against your real publishing history.
PRS for Music
- Log in to your PRS member account at prsformusic.com
- Go to "Works" or "My Works" in the member portal
- Look for a "Download" or "Export" option: PRS allows you to download your registered works as a spreadsheet
- Save the file as CSV or Excel
If you can't find a direct export option, try the "Works Query" tool in the PRS portal, it lets you search and download results.
ASCAP
- Log in to ASCAP Member Access at ascap.com
- Navigate to "My Works" or "ACE Repertory"
- Search for your works and use the export/download option
- Save as CSV
BMI
- Log in to BMI Online Services at bmi.com
- Go to "My Catalog" or "Works Registration"
- Search your registered works and look for a download or export option
- Save as CSV or Excel
SESAC / Other PROs
Most PROs offer some form of catalogue export through their online member portal. Look for "My Works", "Catalogue", or "Repertory" sections and a download or export button. If your PRO doesn't offer a direct export, you can often copy your works list into a spreadsheet manually.
What to Include
The more data in your export, the better Kii can match and suggest. Useful columns include:
- Song/Work title: the registered title
- Writer names: all credited writers
- Splits/Shares: percentage ownership per writer
- Publisher: publisher name and share
- ISWC or Work ID: international standard work code
- Registration date: when the work was registered
Don't worry about formatting, Locker's context importer auto-detects columns and lets you map them before importing. Just export whatever your PRO gives you.
