Contact Management
Manage your network of collaborators, writers, and producers.
Your Contacts
Locker's contact system lets you manage your professional network. Contacts can be linked to track credits, used as message recipients, and invited as collaborators on tracks and projects.
Contact Roles
Each contact can have one or more roles that describe how they relate to your work, songwriter, producer, artist, mixer, engineer, manager, publisher, and custom roles you define. These roles are also used when assigning credits on tracks, so your credits system stays consistent with your contact data.
Contact Cards
Create your own Contact Card to make it easy for others to find and connect with you on Locker. Your card includes your name, photo, roles, and a way for people to reach you.
Credits on Tracks
Locker stores track credits as linked contact relationships with one or more credit roles. When the Smart Uploader detects contributor names from filenames, it can match them to existing contacts and help you build credits faster. You can also add and edit credits manually in the inspector.
Credits are not the same as flexible track tags. They are structured relationships between a track and a contact, with roles such as songwriter, producer, artist, or any custom credit role you define.
Use credits when you want to represent who worked on a track and in what capacity. Use tags when you want flexible organizational labels like location or custom workflow markers.
