Your Google Calendar both ways

Sign in with Google, and changes in Locker show in Google and changes in Google show in Locker.

Signing in

On the Calendar, open Calendars and press Sign in with Google under Google Calendar. Google asks whether Locker may see and change your calendar events. Say yes to both. Then switch on each Google calendar you want on Locker’s Calendar. Your main calendar is switched on for you.

  • Locker only changes your Google Calendar when you do something in Locker: change a name, a day or a time, add a plan to Google, or delete one from both. It never sends invitations or emails from Google.
  • Calendars someone shared with you that you can only look at stay read only.
  • To stop, open Calendars and choose Sign out of Google behind the ··· next to your Google account. Google then forgets Locker. Nothing in Google changes.

Already pasted your Google Calendar’s secret address? Signing in takes it over, and your Locker details stay where they are.

What you can do

  • Change the name, day or time of a Google event in its Locker panel, or drag it to another day. Google changes first, then Locker.
  • Put a Locker plan into Google: in the plan’s ··· menu, choose Add to Google Calendar. From then on, changes in either show in both.
  • New plans go into: choose a Google calendar, and every plan you make in Locker goes into it as well.
  • Link back to Locker: puts Open in Locker in the notes of the Google event, so you can jump back to the plan.
  • Delete from Google too: in the plan’s ··· menu. History can bring the Locker plan back, but not the Google event. Google keeps deleted events in its bin for 30 days.

A plan you invited people to on Locker stays in Locker. Invitations are Locker’s, so they are never sent from Google.
