Ideas holds everything that is not a track yet, in three kinds:
- Concepts: a line, a title or a hook, in words
- Voice notes: melodies and ideas you recorded
- Lyrics: lyric sheets not on a track yet
See them all together under Everything, or one kind at a time. Ideas you have put to use on a track move to Used.
Ideas are private. They are never shared with collaborators or a team.
Capturing an Idea
- Type it into the bar at the top of Ideas
- Hold the plus anywhere in Locker to record a voice note straight into Ideas
- Press the plus and choose Concept, Voice note or Lyric
Your ideas are also in the Writing Room's Ideas tool, ready to drop into a lyric.
